Evaluation of Stress Levels in Patients Suffering from COVID 19 Infection Admitted in Isolation Ward of a Tertiary Hospital at Hapur as Assessed by Perceived Stress Scale

The present study aimed to evaluate the stress levels in patients suffering from COVID 19. 100 COVID19 with age >15 years of both genders were included after taking written informedconsent. All subjects administered Perceived Stress Scale questionnaire fill and scores werecalculated. 82% high while 16% moderate category andonly 2% reported low perceived stress. As far as wise distribution was considered, 36% were< 40 age, 32% between – 60 more age. Out females43% had stress, 3% none category. While males 39% highstress, 13% There a significant increase stressscore females compared (33.08 + 4.29 vs 30.57 5.27; p <0.01). So, there is need assessthe all 19 regular counselling psychotherapy should be done specially infemale patients.
